There a a large number of In Case of Emergency a.k.a. (I.C.E.) apps.  Their focus is to provide emergency medical information to whomever.

MedicALL takes a different approach.  It is an app for everyday medical situations that include the rare "emergency".  One app does it ALL!  It keeps track of all your medical information and provides the means for emergency and non-emergency notification.

This wallpaper provides emergency information to others when your phone is locked.

ALERT (Emergency Dialer)
When tapping the Alert Icon you will be given the choice of  dialing 911, autodialing your active emergency contact number or using the panic button to alert others of your situation and location.

Multi-tasking iPhones provide a Notification option under Setting, which can be set for each app.  Set the notification mode for Medicall to Alert Mode.  This will insure that the Alert message to return to Medicall after emergency dialing remains on the screen until dismissed by you.
